Interview: Aneessa

Can you tell us about your latest project? What inspired it, and what can your fans expect from it?

My latest project is really close to my heart. It’s a culmination of years of experiences, personal growth, and artistic exploration. This album has been inspired by my journey through different phases of life, and I wanted to convey a message of hope, resilience, and love to my fans. I believe in the power of music to heal and uplift, and I hope this project resonates with listeners in a deeply emotional way.

Songwriting can be a cathartic process. What emotions or messages do you hope your music conveys to listeners?

My music is a way for me to express a range of emotions, from the joy of love to the strength of resilience. I want my listeners to feel a sense of hope, positivity, and connection when they hear my songs. Whether it’s a smooth jazz melody or an upbeat dance track, I aim to convey messages of love, unity, and empowerment.

How has your musical style evolved over the years, and what do you hope to convey through your music now compared to when you first started your career?

My musical style has definitely evolved. I’ve explored various genres and found that my true identity lies in blending these influences. My music is a fusion of different styles, and I aim to create a unique sound that sets me apart. I want to convey authenticity and a sense of self-discovery through my music, reflecting the journey I’ve taken as an artist.

Many fans look up to their favorite artists as role models. What advice do you have for aspiring musicians who hope to make a name for themselves in the music industry?

My advice is to stay true to yourself and your vision. Don’t be afraid to experiment and evolve as an artist. Surround yourself with a supportive team and network with fellow musicians; these connections can be invaluable in your journey. And never give up – perseverance is key in this industry.

In the age of streaming and digital platforms, how do you navigate the challenges of making a living as a recording artist, and what advice would you give to aspiring musicians trying to break into the industry?

Making a living in the digital age can be challenging. It’s essential to diversify your income streams, whether through live performances, merchandise, or collaborations. Building a strong online presence is crucial, and I encourage aspiring musicians to use digital platforms to connect with their audience and share their music.

Your image and style often become part of your brand as an artist. How do you approach your personal image and fashion choices to express yourself and connect with your fans.

I see my personal image and style as an extension of my art. I want my image to reflect the essence of my music – positive, uplifting, and genuine. It’s a way for me to connect with my fans on a visual level and convey the emotions that my music encapsulates.

The future is always uncertain, but what are your long-term goals and aspirations as a recording artist, and what can your fans expect from you in the coming years?

Looking ahead, my long-term goals include continuing to create music that touches the hearts of my listeners. I want to expand my reach and share my message of positivity with a broader audience. My fans can expect more beautiful music, meaningful collaborations, and a deepening of my connection with them in the coming years.
